"For years, I have made works of art based on all kinds of ready-made objects. I start my artistic process by getting ideas, making sketches and finding materials. I’m interested in the feeling of the materials, the colors and shapes, as well as the meanings and concepts.

Natural materials are as important as man-made objects, especially local materials; I have used fiber materials, felt, bones, antlers, fur and wood, as well as old maps, books and coat hangers. Clothes, wigs and pieces of furniture get a new life in my installations and assemblages. By modifying and combining objects, I am able to create something new and surprising, and prolong the life of an object. I love to play with words and give exiting names to my works."
